Instructor Development courses

INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE

August 21, 2010, 8:30 am– 3:00 pm, location Hamburg United Methodist Church, 116 Union Street, Hamburg NY 14075

This workshop style course is outlined to provide any patroller interested in becoming an NSP instructor the necessary tools and requirements for success.  Lesson plans will be outlined, communication skills will be refined, adult learning styles will be reviewed and everyone will have a good time!

The various NSP disciplines that accept qualified instructors are as follows:

Completion of the Instructor Development Course can also be used as a credit toward seeking Senior Patroller status.

There is a registration fee of $30.00 to be made payable to the NSP WNY and submitted with completed registration form (click on registration form link here) to :

Once registration fee and completed registration form are received you will be mailed the required manual “Training the Adult Learner”.  Registration fee and completed registration form will be required two weeks prior to start of course.

Lunch will be provided as part of the course.
